After a bit of time walking along those Pittsburgh streets, you might start to freeze a bit. When that happens, you’ll need to grab a cup of joe to warm up (and to get a nice caffeine buzz).

Commonplace Coffee isn’t just any coffee place. You’re not going to be picking up your cup from a drive-thru line. They consider coffee an art, and that is reflected both in their homey locations and the quality of their in-house roasted coffee beans.

Take an espresso to go from Commonplace Coffee, and you’ll be ready for the adventures that await.

Ice skating is just one of those quintessentially winter activities. Not only is it fun and freeing to glide around the ice, but it can also be a nice bit of exercise (much needed during the cold months).

The Ice Castle Arena is a huge complex right in your area that hosts public free-skates as well as lessons for beginners. There’s even a bar and lounge to grab a beer at after. It has fun and refreshments all in one well-maintained facility!
